Harvard Business Review and Other Readings

During our last class, a couple of people asked for some scholarly readings to supplement the text. I was asked, if possible, to provide links to any supplementary readings rather than photocopies.

What follows is a wide range of excellent scholarly articles on entrepreneurship, new venture planning and new venture management. All are from the SFU online collection, so you can read them online or download a PDF copy if you login using your SFU account. Most references are between 7-10 pages.

I tried to provide a direct link to each of the PDF articles, but wasn't able to because HBR references are paid. To access these articles, click on the title. You will be prompted to enter your SFU username and password before linking to the article summary on the Business Source Complete (BSC) - EBSCO database for the Harvard Business Review. Finally, click on the PDF link at the top of the page to access the article.

In a separate note, I will recommend one HBR reading that we will discuss in each of the remaining 4 classes.
